Raf Reyntjens

Raf Reyntjens is a Belgian writer-director of fiction films, commercials and music films. Born in 1975 and graduated in 1999 from Belgium’s Royal Institute of Theatre, Cinema and Sounds in Brussels. Narrative fiction, commercials and music films are his ‘thing’. He has directed several music films for Stromae, James Deano and Monza, among others and made two short films starring Mathias Schoenaerts, the sci-fi fantasy A Message from Outer Space and Tunnelrat, the first film to explore underground warfare during World War I.

His debut feature film Paradise Trips – starring Gène Bervoets – was released in the summer of 2015. The comedy drama won 3 Ensors (Flemish Film Awards) at the Ostend Film Festival.
